When disaster strikes—whether it’s fire, flood or storm damage, your home or business shouldn’t be just another insurance case file.

Why Professional Loss Assessors can make the difference in Property Insurance Claims

Dealing with an insurance claim after a major loss can feel overwhelming. Property insurance policies are complex, settlements often fall short, and navigating the process alone can be stressful. That’s where I step in —not just as a technical expert, but as your trusted advocate who genuinely cares about your recovery.

Unlike loss adjusters who represent insurers, I work exclusively for policyholders, ensuring you receive the settlement you’re entitled to. But it’s more than just numbers, I aim to listen, guide, and stand by your side throughout the process. Our approach means we take time to understand the impact of your loss, crafting a strategy that prioritises your needs.

I know that every claim tells a story, whether you are rebuilding a home, saving a business, or recovering from unexpected devastation. Our dedicated support means fewer delays, higher settlements, and less stress for you. Instead of navigating complex insurance jargon alone, you’ll have an expert who keeps you informed, fights for your best interests, and makes the process as smooth as possible.

Beyond financial results, we provide peace of mind. When you work with me along with the Concept Claim Solutions team, you’re not just another case file, you’re someone whose recovery matters.

We bring expertise, but we also bring empathy, dedication, and unwavering support, because for us, every claim is personal.

If you, or someone you know, needs this kind of support, please do reach out and I can explain further how I can help.

It’s been a while…

Yet another effort to try and keep this up to date, a lot has happened since last time.

First of all, after 8 years I finally took the plunge and moved on from Fasthosts.  Big decision but it was time.  New job is great. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/frankashworth

We moved to Bishops Cleeve which we love, great house although the really big news is that we no longer fit in it already.

Meet James, on the right, and George.  Born 7th April 2015 they have turned our lives upside down.  Poor Alfie has been good as gold and is certainly, to us at least, the best big bro ever known!

6 months in we’re surviving, lots of good times to follow and maybe this time I’ll keep my online diary going 🙂

Daresbury Park Hotel – Tired hotel in need of an update

I booked this hotel off the back of a Travelzoo offer, £39 room only with £15 credit towards any spend in the hotel. To be fair I think it was worth this. They did charge me instead of using the credit but after just getting off the phone with them they were very helpful and refunded their error so I see that as petty good service.

It’s a Village hotel that has been bought out by Brittania so it does seem to be in transition, they really need to update the place though. The corridor outside our room smelled of damp and ther was an area where the carpet was wet.

The room was OK, no air con but again, for the price, should I expect this?? We had told them we were bringing our own travel cot and for some reason they had put a spare bed in the room, I just moved it out of the way but was surprised it was an air bed rather than a mattress, I’ve never seen that before in a hotel? Also, not the best bed I’ve ever stayed in but ok for 1 night.

Had a drink in the bar which was ok, breakfast was good although a bit pricey at £10 per head, all you can eat buffet style.

Didn’t use the leisure facilities but the pool looked fantastic, if they get the rest of the place up to the same standard they’ll do ok.

In summary, we were just staying as a stopover to cut up a long journey so for our purposes it was fine. As a hotel you would book for business it would also work I suppose however not the place for a relaxing weekend for example, not yet anyway!
